VIOLIN AFTER 'NICOLA AMATI' AND VIOLIN BOW 'TOURTE' German, early 20th century. Two-piece spruce top and flamed maple back, red-brown varnish. 4/4 violin, l. 59.1 cm, body length 35.7 cm. Violin label 'Nicolaus Amatus fecit in Cremona 1636'. Violin bow, octagonal stick, single eye, winding, thumb leather, bone head plate, l. 73,4 cm, weight approx. 58g, violin bow marked 'Tourte', min. dam. Violin partly dam., cracks to top.
