VIOLIN AFTER GIOVANNI MAGGINI 'JULIUS ALTRICHTER' AND TWO VIOLIN BOWS* Frankfurt an der Oder, 1912 Two-piece spruce top and maple back, brown varnish, with case. 4/4 violin, L. 59.5 cm, body L. 36.5 cm. Violin label: 'Made after Giovanni Maggini by J. Altrichter Hof Instrument Factory in Frankfurt an der Oder in 1912', verso brand mark. Two violin bows, German, early 20th century, round and octagonal stick, single frog, thumb leather, winding, ivory button. Violin in fair condition, minimal cracks in the top. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse. CITES marketing certificate is available.
