VIOLIN 'GRAINGEOT' Mirecourt, 1830-1840 Two-piece spruce top and one-piece maple back, brown-reddish varnish, with old wooden case. 4/4 violin l. 59.4 cm, body l. 35.8 cm. Brand mark 'Graingeot' on the back, Christophe Graingeot, violin maker from Mirecourt, France, active ca. 1840-1880. Partly chipped and damaged, rest.
