VIOLIN FRANZ HORNSTEINER SCHOOL AFTER AMATI Mittenwald, around 1770 Two-piece spruce top and flamed maple back, dark brown-orange varnish, with case, scroll later (19th century). 4/4 violin, l. 59,4, body length 35,8 cm. Partly dam. and rubbed, cracks to top and back, dam. to neck. Expertise: Expertise Enke, Frankfurt am Main, 1988 and certificate C. T. Fundateanu, Frankfurt, 2009. Provenance: From an old private collection in Hesse.
