Description
VIOLIN 'COMPAGNON' Probably France, early 20th century. Two-piece spruce top and maple back, dark brown-red varnish. 4/4 violin, l. 59.5, body length 35.5 cm. Violin label 'Compagnon', presumably workshop Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy in Mirecourt. Part chipped and slightly damaged, rest. Provenance: Private collection South Germany.
