VIOLIN 'CARLO BERGONZI' Probably 18th century, probably England One-piece spruce top and maple back, brown varnish, with bag. 4/4 violin, l. approx. 58.3, body length 35.3 cm. Violin label: 'Anno 1746 Carlo Bergonzi fece in Cremona'. Partly dam. and rubbed, cracks to top. Provenance: Private collection Rhineland.
