VIOLIN BOW 'TOURTE'* German, early 20th century. Round stick, single eye, nickel silver mounting and winding, thumb leather, ivory head plate. Length 74 cm, weight approx. 50 g. Violin bow marked "Tourte" and "Germany" to the underside of the stick. Minimally rubbed and bumped. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country.
