FINE VIOLIN BOW 'WILHELM AUGUST PFRETZSCHNER'* Markneukirchen, circa 1910-1930 Round pernambuco stick, silver mountings, winding, thumb leather, mother-of-pearl inlay, ivory frog. L. 74.3 cm, weight approx. 63.4 g. Violin bow marked 'W.A. Pfretzschner' and featuring an emblem on the frog. Min. rubbed and bumped. Provenance: Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia; formerly owned by the concertmaster of the Ford Symphony Orchestra, Cologne. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
