SCABELLO CHAIR (ALSO BOARD OR WEDDING CHAIR) Probably Italy or Germany, 18th/19th century. Walnut, stained dark. Rh. 102, sh. 50, w. 47, d. 42 cm. Front board-shaped chair leg, florally carved, two turned rear legs. Fitted, curved, profiled, straight seat. High openwork backrest with two female figures carved in relief. Part chipped and damaged.
