EMPIRE WALL MIRROR German, first half of the 19th century Walnut, burl veneer, gilded, mirror glass. H. 120, W. 58, D. 10 cm. Tall rectangular frame with recessed molding and slightly protruding edge, ebonized half-columns on the sides, semicircular, dark contrasting pediment, gilded relief stucco application, centered mythical creatures. Partially intact, bumped, restored.
