WILLI BAUMEISTER 1889 Stuttgart - 1955 ibidem 'PSEUDO RELIEF' (1955/1964) Colour lithograph on laid paper (later print). Sheet size 64.3 x 76.4 cm. Print size 50 x 66.4 cm. Inscribed in pencil 'M. Baumeister' and numbered '24/80' lower left. Verso stamp and signature of the lithographer Erich Mönch and with printed name of the atelier Willi Baumeister as well as inscribed in pencil 'Sp. 194'. The artist's last print, which was published in an edition of 80 copies by the Baumeister atelier in April 1964 after he had completed a trial proof in August 1955. Authorised by Margarete Baumeister. Part. slightly stained, the margins and corners partially with slight handling marks and creases. Literature: Spielmann/Baumeister 151 c.
