WASSILY KANDINSKY 1866 Moscow - 1944 Neuilly-sur-Seine 'OVAL COMPOSITION' (1925) Colour etching on Rives wove paper, with watermark and dry stamp 'EDITEUR MAEGHT'. Frame size 61.7 x 49.5 cm. Sheet size 57.8 x 45.1 cm. Monogrammed and dated in plate as well as numbered in pencil '8/300' lower left. Verso inscribed in pencil by an unknown hand. Folded over at lower margin once, partially browned, light-stained and slighty stained as well as with two pinholes. At the upper margin mounted in passepartout and framed behind glass. Provenance: Private collection norht rhine-Westphalia.
