SALVADOR DALI 1904 - 1989 Figueres, Girona PORTFOLIO 'APOLLINAIRE POÈMES SECRETS' (1967) Edition Argillet, 19 double sheets and three single sheets typographically designed, 3 dry point etchings and 8 vignettes on Arches, partially with watermark in original folder (incomplete). Folder 39.5 x 29.5 x 4.5 cm. Etchings and vignettes each with dry stamp 'Dalí', last page additionally to the dry stamp inscribed with pen 'H.C.' as well as signed in pencil 'Dalí ' and inscribed '07'. Included dry point etchings: 'Les Tiroirs', 'Les Tranchées', 'La Guerre de 1914-18' as well as all 8 vignettes. One vignette slightly stained, some text sheets slightly browned, two sheets part. stained, folder with signs of age and stained. Literature: M/L 190, 192, 193, 199-206. Provenance: Renowned private collection North Rhine-Westphalia; previous owner belonged to the artist's close circle.
