LOT OF FOUR INLAID BOXES Partly probably Italian, 1st half of the 20th century Various woods, some ebonized and inlaid, metal, some with keys. 13 x 11.5 x 10.5 cm / 9.5 x 15 x 12.5 cm / 4 x 13.5 x 10 cm / 3.5 x 5.5 x 6 cm. Various shapes and designs, some with lockable hinged lids; two boxes in the shape of a stack of books, each with inlaid figures on the lid, some with the inscription 'In Remembrance'; one with tendril and bird decoration on the lid. Some with concealed keyholes or sliding closures. Partly damaged.
