DRAGOON CARTRIDGE BOX German, Hesse Darmstadt, circa 1910 Leather, silver-plated metal. 4 x 16 x 10 cm. Cartridge box for dragoon officers. Covered in black lacquered leather, silver-plated metal fittings. Exterior features a crowned 'L' with laurel and oak leaf decoration and edge trim. Side carrying rings on semi-sculpted lion heads. Signs of wear, some damage.
