Signed and dated lower left. Verso: label reading "Hans Peter Bocking Abentheuerhutte uber Birkenfeld-Nahe 14.12.1935." Provenance: Estate of Bocking / branch of the Bohlen and Halbach family / Abentheuer in the Saarland. The portion of the collection preserved by the family is now housed in the 400-year-old winery and private museum of the Bocking family in Traben-Trarbach. Partial retouching. Original frame (partially damaged, remainder intact).
