SCHULZ 1922 Minneapolis - 2000 Santa Rosa, USA 'SNOOPY & WOODSTOCK' TELEPHONE USA, American Telecommunications Corp., produced from 1976 Housing: coloured plastic, function not tested, Snoopy's head is rotatable.H. approx. 35 cm, W. 24 cm, D. 22 cm. Marked underneath with technical and manufacturer details. Very light signs of use, white plastic partly yellowed. Charles M. Schulz invented and drew the dog 'Snoopy' as early as 1950 for the comic strip series 'The Peanuts'. In 1967 the little, yellow bird 'Woodstock' joined the cast. Initially nameless, he was named in 1970 after the legendary 'Woostock' music festival.
