ARNE JACOBSEN 1902 Copenhagen - 1971 ibid. 'AJ ROYAL' PENDANT LAMP Denmark, Louis Poulsen, Design of 1958 Lacquered steel and aluminium, black, inside white, 4-light electrified. H.23 cm, D. 50 cm, L. 150 cm. Marked 'louis poulsen TYPE 16554 made in dennmark' (label). The design was part of the corporate design concept realised by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Some minor signs of use.
