MELCHIOR VON HUGO 1872 Usingen - 1939 Hanover STANDING RAM Bronze, dark patina, on a rectangular plinth. H. 19.5, W. 21.5, D. 9.5 cm; weight approx. 4 kg. Inscribed 'M v. Hugo' on the side of the plinth. A fully modeled, naturalistic depiction of a powerful standing ram with characteristically curled horns. Minor rubbing and loss of patina.
