CHARLES ANFRIE 1833 - 1905, active in Paris STANDING MOZART WITH VIOLIN Bronze, dark patina. H. 41, W. 16, D. 11 cm, Weight approx. 5.67 kg. Inscribed 'Mozart' on the front, signed 'C. Anfrie' on the side. A fully sculpted depiction of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a stately pose, dressed in typical Rococo attire, with finely modeled details such as ruffles, waistcoat, and wig, holding a violin. Partially bumped and some patina loss; violin strings have minor damage.
