(KARL) GUSTAV RUTZ 1857 Cologne - 1949 ibid. SEATED FEMALE NUDE Bronze, dark patina, on oval plinth and marble base (H. 4 cm). Total H. 37, W. 42, D. 14.5 cm, weight approx. 13.4 kg. Signed 'K. Rutz' and 'Düsseldf.' on the plinth. Elegant depiction of a seated female nude on a stool, legs crossed, upper body slightly turned and one hand resting pensively on her chin. Partial loss of patina, bumped and minimally rubbed.
