Inscribed on the plinth 'n. Grupello' and signed 'Hans Breker' on the plinth, foundry mark 'A. Bischoff Bronzebildgiesser Düsseldorf Germany', numbered '11'. After the Jan Wellem equestrian monument on the market square in Düsseldorf's old town by the Italian-Flemish sculptor Gabriel Grupello (1644-1730). Fully sculpted depiction of the Elector and Duke Johann Wilhelm von Pfalz-Neuburg sitting on a horse, in full armor, holding an elector's hat, odenskett and marshal's baton. Part. Loss of patina.
