GUILLAUME COUSTOU 1677 Lyon - 1746 Paris (after) HORSE TAMER (CHEVAL DE MARLY) Bronze, dark patina, on naturalistic plinth (H. 2.5 cm). Total H. 29, W. 28, D. 12 cm, weight approx. 4.71 kg. Marked 'Coustou' on the plinth and 'H. Vissac, Ciseleur Paris' foundry mark on the back, after the original in the Louvre. Partial loss of patina, figures loose.
