GERMAN SCULPTOR Active early 20th century 'LORENZO DE' MEDICI' Bronze, dark patina, on a plinth. H. 36.5, W. 16, D. 17 cm; weight approx. 8.3 kg. Foundry mark on the back: 'F.P. SANSON SUCC. Neuer Wall 4, Hamburg'. After the original by Michelangelo in the Medici Chapel of San Lorenzo in Florence. Minor rubbing and loss of patina.
