VARIOUS SCULPTORS Active 19th/20th century GROUP OF FIVE SMALL BUSTS Bronze with brown and dark patina. Heights ranging from 15 to 20 cm. A group of five busts comprising a pair of expressively modeled child busts-one depicting a laughing or smiling child, the other a crying or screaming child-and two heads of children with contrasting expressions (one with mouth wide open, the other smiling). Each is set on a tall baluster pedestal with a fluted circular base. Also included is a portrait bust of a young woman in the Neo-Renaissance style, featuring an elaborate updo and pearl jewelry. Part. bumped and rubbed, loss of paint.
