THREE MONKEYS (GROOMING / THE THREE WISE MONKEYS)
Bronze, dark brown patina. H 57 W 72 D 36 cm. Signed 'J. Schold' on the back. Large-scale bronze group featuring three monkeys in a tight, clustered composition. The two flanking animals turn toward the central monkey, appearing to examine or groom it, thereby creating a lively, almost humorous scene. Areas of rubbing and loss of patina.
