ITALIAN SCULPTOR Active early 20th century 'WOMAN IN TRADITIONAL COSTUME' AS A FIGURAL CANDLEHOLDER Bronze, dark patina, on a round marble base; supporting a shallow, bowl-shaped candle nozzle on her head. H. 31 cm, diam. 15.5 cm, weight approx. 2.95 kg. Unsigned, presumably Italian. Part. bumped and rubbed, loss of painting, min. oxidation inside the candle nozzle.
