DEMETRE HARALAMB CHIPARUS 1888 Dorohoi, Romania - 1947 Paris (after) 'EMPREINTE DES PIEDS' Cast zinc with bronze finish, face, belly, hands, and feet carved from imitation ivory, on a pedestal. Total height 40, width 13.5, depth 7 cm, weight approx. 2.38 kg. Based on the original design from around 1925. Fully sculpted representation of an Art Deco dancer. One hand is missing, partially damaged and bumped.
