Signed on the plinth 'E. Rettenmaier' on the plinth, after the original in the Louvre by Guillaume Coustou (1677 Lyon - 1746 Paris). Fully sculpted depiction of an athletic man taming a rearing horse. Part. Loss of patina, min. bumped and rubbed.
