GIOVANNI DA BOLOGNA ('GIAMBOLOGNA') 1529 - 1608 (follower) BATHING VENUS Probably 19th century or earlier Bronze, on circular plinth. H. 26, w. 10, d. 9 cm, weight ca. 2,8 kg. Massive, fully sculptured depiction of a standing, unclothed Venus with a cloth, bent leg and slightly lowered head. Part. rubbed, bumped and loss of patina, min. traces of oxidation.
