Monogrammed 'AB' on the ball on the reverse and foundry mark 'Bildgiesserei Kraas Berlin S42', plaque on the front 'S/1 Major Delius in gratitude Kreis Krieger Verband 1930 Rheydt 1936'. Dynamic animal sculpture of a mighty eagle standing powerfully with outstretched wings on a ball surrounded by foliage. Min. rubbed patina. Provenance: Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia.
