OTTO POERTZEL 1876 Scheibe - 1963 Coburg EAGLE ON A ROCK Bronze, dark patina, on a stone base (H. 4 cm). Total H. 33.5, W. 45, D. 25 cm, weight approx. 7.2 kg. Marked 'Prof. Poertzel' on the plinth. Above an oval-shaped base, a rock-like plinth with a fully sculpted representation of an eagle with outstretched wings. Partial loss of patina.
