TWELVE VARIOUS KOZUKA (KNIFE HANDLE) Japan, 18th/19th century Copper alloy. L. ca. 9.4-9.7 cm. Including twelve kozuka inlaid with figures, animals, plants, and landscapes. One kozuka is signed 'Yasumasa' with a kao. With traces of use and age, partially scratched, damaged and deformed. Provenance: From an old private collection in the southern part of North Rhine-Westphalia.
