Description
TWO IVORY RYUSA-MANJU NETSUKE Japan, 19th century Ivory. Ca. 2.5x2.5x2.4 cm and D. 5.1 cm. Including a square-shaped netsuke depicting a pavilion scene, and a round-shaped netsuke depicting bamboos on one side and a riverside landscape on the other. With traces of age and use, partially cracked and damaged. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country.
