TWO COPPER ALLOY REPOUSSÉ APPLIQUÉ RITUAL BOX WITH COVER China (Tibet), 19th century or later Copper alloy. H. 9.7-22 cm. The larger one is decorated with the "Eight Auspicious Symbols", the smaller one with vajra as well as buddha and Kanthaka. With traces of use, partially damaged. Provenance: From a private collection in Tyrol, acquired directly from Sangha from Tibet in the second half of the 20th century.
