TWO IVORY CARVED 'FIGURAL' NETSUKE Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. 3.4-3.9 cm. Including a netsuke of a seated karako holding a mask and a netsuke of a mother holding a mask with a karako, signed "Hidesada". With traces of use, partially cracked. This lot contains elephant ivory and is therefore subject to CITES regulations with restrictions on imports or exports. It is a buyer's responsibility to obtain any export or import licences, certifications and any other required documentation. Certificate for intra-EU trade is issued. Provenance: From a private collection in Rhineland.
