Description
TWO CARVED NETSUKE AND A BOX Japan, 19th century Ivory/Narwhal tusk. H. 3.4-5 cm. Including a netsuke of a shishi head; a netsuke of a dragon among clouds; and a cylindrical box with a threaded lid carved with a dragon. With traces of age and use, partially cracked. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
