TWO FAMILLE ROSE 'FIGURAL' JARS WITH COVER China, late Qing Dynasty or republic period Porcelain. H. ca. 40.5 cm. The jars are fully decorated with ladies accompanied with children in a pavilion and in the front garden under pines and a prunus tree, the cover is decorated continuously with the roof of the pavilion among clouds and a Buddhist lion holding a ball as handle. The jar has a blue-glazed mark "Kangxi Nianzhi" on the bottom. With traces of use, partially cracked.
