TWO BLUE AND WHITE 'FIGURAL' DISHES China, Qing Dynasty Porcelain. D. 20.3-21.2 cm. The interior of both dishes is painted with figural scenes, each dish surrounded by a border of four panels decorated with flowers. The exterior is adorned with floral and landscape motifs. One dish is marked 'Daming Chenghua Nianzhi' bottom, while the other is marked 'Daqing Kangxi Nianzhi' on the bottom. With traces of use and age, partially chipped, and one with a hairline crack.
