Description
FOUR IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF HUMAN FIGURES Japan, 19th century Ivory. H. 3.1-5.1 cm. Including a netsuke of Moso, signed on the bottom; a netsuke of Daruma and a geisha, also signed on the bottom; a netsuke of a laughing sennin holding a hut; and a netsuke of Jurojin with karakos. With traces of age and use, one of them has been restored. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country. It is currently not possible to export ivory to the USA, Canada or England. This item is not legal to sell in the UK.
