A GILT BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF CHANGKYA ROLPAI DORJE China, 18th century Bronze. H. 10.7 cm. The Changkya Hutuku is seated on a brocaded cushion, with right hand in vitarka mudra and the left originally holding a ritual object, wearing a distinctive lotus hat associated with the Geluk lineage. With traces of age, partially abraded, accessories missing.
