Description
A GILT BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF A KARMAPA Tibet/Nepal, 19th/20th century Bronze. H. 19.4 cm. The Karmapa is seated in vajraparyankasana on a double lotus throne, with one hand in abhaya mudra and the other holding sutras. He is dressed in ornamented robes adorned with an incised decorative pattern. With traces of age, partially damaged and abraded.
