Description
A BRONZE SEATED STATUE OF GREEN TARA Nepal, 19th/20th century Bronze. H. 33.3 cm. The crowned and richly adorned green Tara sits in lalitasana on a lotus throne, with the right foot resting on a lotus flower, the right hand in varada mudra, and the left hand holding a lotus stalk. Partially damaged, the hair bun is broken, with old labels and paper rest.
