A BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF TARA Nepal, 19th/20th century Bronze. H. 16.5 cm. Tara is seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with hands holding lotus stems, backed by a separate flaming nimbus. With traces of age and gilding, partially damaged and abraded. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
