A BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF SHAKYAMUNI China, early Qing Dynasty Bronze. H. 23.5 cm. Shakyamuni is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, with the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the left hand in dhyana mudra. Signed on the base 'jian jiu ren zi sui san yue, si ma fo shi zao'. The base was likely added later in Japan. With traces of age and gilding, partially damaged.
