A BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF GUANYIN China, Ming-Dynasty Bronze. H. 24.3 cm. The deity seated in dhyanasana with the right hand raised, the left hand holding a cup, attired in flowing robes, and pendant jewels, crowned by an elaborate headdress centered on a figure of Amitabha, with traces of gilding. With traces of age, partially damaged and restored. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
