A BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS Sino Tibet, Qianlong-Period Bronze. H. 18.4 cm. Amitayus is seated in dhyanasana on a square throne, with hands in dhyanamudra originally holding a kalasha. The Buddha is adorned. With traces of age, partially abraded and damaged; the kalasha and possibly the flaming nimbus are missing.
