A CORAL AND TURQUOISE-INLAID SILVER-MOUNTED BONE TRUMPET (KANGLING) China (Tibet), 19th century Bone/silver/coral/turquoise. L. 33 cm. The kangling decorated with sinuous dragons surrounded by scrolling foliage, each end inset with a turquoise and a coral. With traces of use and age, partially cracked.
