EINE SELTENE JIZHOU-TEESCHALE MIT BLATTDEKOR

A RARE JIZHOU LEAF-DECORATED TEA BOWL China, probably Song-Dynasty Pottery. H. 6.3 cm. The bowl is coated with a black glaze on both the interior and exterior. The interior is decorated near the centre with a brownish-buff leaf. The rim is fitted with a brass band. With traces of use and age, partially cracked and abraded. Provenance: From a German private collection.
