EINE PLAKETTE MIT HANDWERKERN UND GOTTHEITEN AUS BRONZE

A BRONZE PLAQUE DEPICTING ARTISANS AND DEITIES India Bronze. L. ca. 30 cm. The plaque shows the five craft guilds of blacksmiths, wood carvers, copper casters, stonemasons and goldsmiths with their tools and examples of their work. At the top center Shiva dancing as Nataraja, flanked by Ganesha and Kalki. On the reverse, inscription in Devanagri with a date of 1681, but possibly later. With traces of age, partially abraded.
